Camera Inspection
See inside the pipe before deciding anything
This is the difference between fixing a problem and guessing at it. The camera goes down the line, sends live video back and pinpoints the defect: root, crack, sag, offset joint or buildup. You see the same thing the technician sees, at the same moment.
A diagnosis you can actually see
You watch the screen with us. We explain what the image shows, how far the defect sits from the access point and what that means in practice. Nobody asks you to pay for a repair on the strength of a description.
Located to the metre
The locating sonde gives us the exact position and depth of the problem under your yard or slab. If excavation does become necessary, we dig in the right place the first time instead of opening half the yard.
Worth doing before you buy
Before buying a property in Montreal, particularly a pre-1970s building, an inspection of the main line keeps you from inheriting a spent weeping tile or a collapsed clay pipe. It is one of the highest-return checks you can run.
Do I get the footage?
Yes. We can hand over the inspection recording on request, which is particularly useful for an insurance claim, a purchase negotiation or a condo board file.
Can any pipe be inspected?
We need an access point, most often the cleanout. For small diameters such as a sink trap we use a smaller-gauge sonde. We confirm feasibility on the phone.
Does the line need to be cleared first?
Often yes. A line full of water or blocked stops the camera from advancing and filming. In that case we clear it first, then inspect on the same visit.
